Chris Veron has been active as a DJ in the scene since the early 90s and finally entered in to the production foray back in 2014. Here he delivers 3 solid cuts aimed squarely at the dancefloor backed up with remixes from Lauter Unfug label co-founder Riven plus Stil Vor Talent’s Several Definitions.
A1) Black Synth is pumping house cut with progressive tendencies. Easily a cross over track for any kind of dance floor.
A2) Label co-founder Riven drops a darker tech house interpretation that’s suitable for the peak time hours.
A3) Stil Vor Talent’s Several Definitions goes for a deeper, melancholic take on Chris Veron’s original – delivered in a neo progressive style – with some nice electronic elements shining through in the mix. The breakdown is exceptionally nice but perhaps a little too dark for many classic progressive DJs.
B1) Chris Veron’s ‘Startflight’ is a hypnotic and futuristic sounding prog tech affair, offering passengers a twisted journey through the kaleidoscope of sounds.
C1) White Shadow is a groove laden affair that packs plenty of punch. Very nice stuff indeed from Veron who manages to perfect the balance between deepness and power.
