LUM031 Audioleptika & Housekeepers – Black Box EP

LUM031 Audioleptika & Housekeepers – Black Box EP

Next EP is comin’ straight outta Regensburg of the most advancing techhouse producers in this Bavarian city. The collab of Audioleptika and HouseKeepers are joining together again for the “Black Box EP” and boost the bump for hitting the floors. The outcome is a filtered techhouse tune for buzzing some good times. A ranting driven bassline and shaky rhythms are the effective ingredients in the original track.

Following the groovin’ guidelines, the remixes are inferior to it. After his latest releases on our label, Chris Hartwig is back with a remix and convinces by placing some piano cuts for giving a proper housin’ drive. Another sublime interpretation comes from Thomas Stieler, who is known for appearances on Freude Am Tanzen or Rotary Cocktail. His “Research Remix” explores it a bit more reduced but nonetheless greatly movin’, serves the elements gently and generates a subtle flow.

LUM030 SokooL – You Did it EP

LUM030 SokooL – You Did it EP

It’s a (tiny) jubilee and we’re gonna celebrate this with the SoKool boys from Berlin. Their label debut ‘You Did It EP’ is spiced with a little bunch of remixes and pops up as an exquisite music rounding off.

They did it – ‘You Did It’. For an unstrained moving original, SoKool turn the knobs into a square and harsh bassline that puts a decent weight on a basic rhythm like kick, clap and unsteady hats. Smartly these forms an extraordinary mood, which tends to eternalness by adding a pensive melody. Remixer one is DkA from Bruxelles who striked recently (in collab. with Igor Vicente) on Mobilee, Get Physical or Hot Creations. Infusing a dragging synthbass and keepin’ the melody fluid, makes it generate a highly obsessing tune. On the other hand, the charming Spanish guy FreedomB from Berlin delivers another groove bomb remix, bang!

SoKool’s ‘Sa Phia’ appears gentle for a low-driven journey into a sparkling world of club fairy tales. Brave and daring creatures float for the sake of this beauty in a sound orgy. In turn, Carlo Ruetz takes it on by night: still on the easy trail, he keeps it rollin’ in a wide room. A bowl of effects and clap games striping his remix. Surely more than just functional!

Carried on intermeshing percussions, the title track rambles ahead with a warm flow through the flourishing garden. Stopping by at the burst of buds, a sweet melody will underscore the mood of this tune. ‘Excuse Me’ says Berlin-based singer Mz Sunday Luv and comes along in collaboration at the so-called track. On a fluffy beat and a portion of weirdness, she sings with her smoky and seductive voice into a sexy dirtyness.

The original of ‘Clap’ reaches the level of exitement which is necessary for blazing the dancing shoes – at the latest when the bass drops! Beatamines takes the helm for remixing this one and injects some tension for keepin’ it heavily suspensful on a subtly puffed-up sequences. Highly potential!

This episode is headlined by Beatamines, who’s also responsible in terms of the preeminent music quality for our label. All the more we are glad that he takes over the steering wheel to guide us herewith straight into the summer.

The ‘Osiris EP’ starts with the title track and an anthem-like majestic bassline, which shines in the light of rave divinity. The sweet arped synth ensures that this tune is perfectly suitable for the open air festival season. A journey into slightly melancholic spheres appears with the remix of the boys from the trio Township Rebellion. After they conquered the attention of the audiences by releasing a deeply ingoing sound on several labels, it’s their premiere on Lauter Unfug. An intense trip with a long and mellifluous break-up will certainly gain Osiris’ goodwill.

Next stop: Melmac! If Alf would have known… Beatamines puts a proper drive on top and a clear pulsating bass to make it flow. Dynamic and energetic, this is one for the full rocking floors. Riven ties in with the remix and gears up with a techhouse monster. The grained voice is still present on a lucid sphere, but the insertion of white noises bucking up the steam.

LUM026 ND Catani – Go Deeper EP

LUM026 ND Catani – Go Deeper EP

Straight outta’ own hood comes No. 26 ‘Deeper EP’ by ND Catani. Following up to his former releases on our label, he strongly keeps on doin’ his house thing. Two massive originals are graced by two powerful remixes.

‘Go Deeper’ burns in the manner of the good old house ages – but with a fresh beat framework. As strong as the soul voice gives its spirit, the marching snares and shaking vibe are spending a driven groove, which turns this piece into an essential track for peaktimes of the house clubs. Niko Schwind, well-known for his releases on Stil Vor Talent and countless other labels, adds a smart and cheeky touch in his remix. A dirty rollin’ bassline and a kind of breaky breaks with warm spacious injections are the formula for giving it a sneaky twist.

‘Hype’ or not? – that’s the question… With a classic vocal sample cut and a warm melodic synth chord ruling the second original track, the hype will definitely remain – even more it induces a smile with its sequenced flow. Groovebox from Spain (Toolroom, 100%% Pure, Bitten, …) puts an energetic pulse in front and delivers a slick techno remix. With a hint of tribalistic drums and the hypnotizing voice, he moves into the break which bursts in sharp-dubby chords. What a driven ride, let’s go for this hype!
